Last year for Christmas I bought 90" strings of pearls on Black Friday and re-strung them all for my girls. That started an interest in beading and I have gradually done a little more. This Christmas all the girls got bracelets. I love putting together the patterns and colors of the beads. It's a new way to create. I love learning new things, and I love creating, so I've had a good time. The problem is--you can only wear so many bracelets! Thank goodness I have friends and relatives that are willing to wear my creations.
My Mom and Dad gave me a birthday card that said, "One doesn't get older, one gets better. Right now, you're approaching magnificence!" I laughed and moaned. The years fly by and the pictures give ample evidence of the passage of time.
